many of these were created with sale yarns. Custom sizes and colors can be
done with at least an eight week delivery date (more if we are back-logged!)

This mohair and wool blend was made with
yarn intended for another project. Not a hand-tied blanket, but a super
price. Gently hand wash or dry clean.
This delicate blanket was
created for a friend who loved creams, white, and taupe. Not one to do a
boring blanket, Katie spiced it up with a mix of metallic yarns in copper, gold
and silver! No fringe. The base yarn is a semi-shiny cream rayon, so this
blanket MUST BE DRY CLEANED. It is not a good rough and tumble
kids blanket. (Though if you love the colors you can custom order one with a
wool base and it will be washable and rugged.) The colors photographed so
differently in the two lights, that we decided to show both - and both are
accurate, when the light changes!
Black wool (what else?) is mixed with
varying shades of black (only a New Yorker would know there are shades of
black!) and grey. Silver eyelash and designer metallic yarn with touches
of sequins make this a night-on-the-town cozy blanket! (Both photos are
accurate, but lighting changes this blanket lots!) Gentle machine
washing is possible, but who has the time? Who has a machine in the
city? It is so easy to drop it off at the cleaners, really, so why
wouldn't you?

Custom Order it! This is not as
hard as you might think! Sizes
Crocheted blankets stretch! We
custom order larger sizes, but for our
throws, above, our best guess in terms of size is as follows:
 | Throw, or Nine Square, ~ 60" x 60". This is the smallest
adult blanket we carry. It is a bit bigger than most standard throws, and is
sure to keep you warm on a cool night. |
| Double, or Twelve Square, ~55" x 70". This size will cover
the top of a double bed, but not hang over the edges. It makes a nicer throw
for someone who wants to cover up completely when they snuggle into a chair or
the couch, or for a larger woman or man. This is Kate's favorite size. |
