Sometimes
design becomes an event; our customer who wanted calligraphy
on her pillows led us on an adventure finding a calligrapher
of acclaim from Taiwan, Yeh Fei Pai, who painted several
letters on silk for them.

This '55 Crown Chair was reupholstered in a similar contemporary
fabric to the original! A sentimental piece, because the owner's father
had built the piece in the Crown studio in Los Angeles, we
took good pieces of the old fabric and made pillows, below.
